DIRECTING & ACTING
Emily has directed several productions professionally and in academia including: Peter and the Starcatcher, The Addams Family, Shrek, and Boeing, Boeing at The Black Hills Playhouse and The Sweet Stuff (world premiere) with Chased by an Elephant Theatre Company in Minneapolis and Chicago. My Generation, an original production conceived and directed by Emily, incorporated social media onstage was a participating production at the Region V Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Other productions she has directed include: Into the Woods, Three Days of Rain, Assassins, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Jesus Christ Superstar, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, Betrayal, and Last Train to Nibroc (Regional Touring Production). Emily has also choreographed productions including A Man of No Importance, Jesus Christ Superstar, Urinetown, and Closer.
Emily has performed in several professional and academic productions including: Much Ado About Nothing, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Oklahoma, Hamlet, The Secret Garden, Time Flies, Parade, A New Brain, Songs for a New World, Faces in the Water (World Premiere) and The Curse of the Fly: The Musical (World Premiere).
